Many good books on bringing God into one’s work give sage advice, highlight biblical principles, and provide examples from the author’s life and work. This book is different. This book is for you, a leader, to work directly with the Grand Creator Himself. It is my hope that it will help you work with God more efficiently and effectively, with more peace and power. This book is designed to tie you, your project, your entire organization, and God, together.

The book introduces the Modal Leadership method. Replete with stories from CEOs and action steps to further you on your leadership adventure, Working With God guides you through ten operating modes that promote clarity, wisdom, agility, strength, information flow, and more. It will help you increase your agility in decision-making by discerning divine direction about your team, project, or organization. 

The first six modes are for inviting God into your business as you handle the known. The last four modes are for engaging with the unknown as you bring yourself into God's business. That is a good challenge. 

Expect support, expect challenge, expect the unexpected, expect God's love at work.

It's the 5:65 habit that's gets us lost. The odds are pretty daunting.

• You go to church for about 90 minutes once a week. (Or you don't.)
• You read a daily devotional and pray for maybe 30 minutes early each morning. (Or you don't.) 
• Total with God: 5 hours per week (or not even).
• Then you try to be Jesus with skin on all day at work, being successful in the work world and in the Kingdom of God. 
• Total with work: 60-70 hours per week.

Ready for more goodness at work? More Godness?

Having a devotional saying on your desk doesn't quite do it. The pressures of time, numbers to meet, people with their competing interests to negotiate, rapidly changing legal, tech, and customer preference landscapes, employee sluggishness and turnover, understaffing, and a host of other problems and opportunities grab and hold our attention. Where is God in this? 

Good news! He's with us already, always. We don't have to drop into "religious mode" to access God, we just recognize which of the life modes that God created our team, project, or organization is operating in, and which one(s) we are in, take it to Him with a question, and, well, Knock and it will be opened to you, full of the exact information you need for your personal, project, team, or organization's next steps. It's not about trying to be a holier person at work and hoping/expecting harder for His blessing. It's about working with God directly on and in your business/organizational concerns.

God wants to work with us! Or rather, wants us to work with Him. That's why He offers us the connection modes, the Ten Modes of Elevated Leadership.

The book and its ten modes is the basis for faith-based Executive Coaching and strategic-&-operational organizational consulting.
